John O’Regan

 John from Dublin is foremost an outdoors man having spent most of his youth hiking and fishing. Over the years he has met and trained with some of the worlds leading authorities on wilderness bushcraft and survival including survival expert and BBC2 presenter Ray Mears(5 Courses) and Lars Falt, a leading authority on artic survival and head of the Swedish army survival school. He has completed in some of the worlds extreme marathons i.e. ‘the marathon des sables’ a 150 mile race in the Sahara desert and the ‘Yukon artic ultra’ a 100 miles race across the Yukon wilderness of Northern Canada.

 

 

 

 

Ian Clarke

Ecology and conservation have always been close to Ian’ heart and his work over the years on environmental projects recently won him an award for ‘outstanding contributions to making Surrey a better place’. He has been a ‘Princess Trust’ youth leader and is currently working with young people on the edge of exclusion from school. His teaching style is relaxed and easy, believing that the journey is as important as the end result.

            Ian is a holder of the NCFE Advanced Bushcraft Leadership Certificate.

 

           

 

Clive Cobie

Clive from Billinghusrt is also a holder of the NCFE Advanced Bushcraft Leadership Certificate and  for many years lived the bushcraft way of life. His knowledge of, among other things, trees and plants and there uses are second to none. Clive has extensive knowledge of woodland crafts and is keen to share this knowledge with Wildtracks students.

 

 

 

Eugene Quigley

 Eugene is from Dundalk. He has trained with Rays Mears (6 Courses) and is also a holder of the NCFE "advanced bushcraft leadership certificate". He spent 4 years on an organic farm learning self-sufficiency. A keen archer and bowhunter he has successfully completed the 'National bowhunters education programme’ in America run by the world famous bowhunter Bob Foulkrod and the NBEF(National Bowhunters Education Foundation).

The National Council of Further Education (NCFE) Certificate in the "Advanced Bushcraft leadership program" is run by Plumpton College with John Ryder as the chief instructor. It covers the following modules:
